TUESDAY SEPT. 22nd: I wanted to send an update on the above-referenced meet.  We currently have a total of about 65 entries for this meet, to be held indoors at JDL Fast Track on Saturday, October 3.  This is a great opportunity for those distance athletes to get a tune-up and for seniors to have a track time to share with college coaches.  I’m attaching the meet info to this email, and registration is available at – https://www.directathletics.com/meets/track/65990.html So far, we have some solid races shaping up.  In the boys 3200, we have 5 athletes who broke 16:00 at McAlpine this past weekend, including Jack Dingman, Will Soule, Ryker Mattioli, Ryan Motondo and William Hamilton.  There are an additional 6 boys who have seed times under 10 minutes.  The girls race has 5 girls who have PRs under 11:30, including Sierra Collins, Caroline Blanton, Bailey Reutinger, Kendall Phillips and Hailey Yentz. Registration closes on Wednesday, September 30, so be sure to share this with your athletes who may be interested in competing.  This will be our first test to see how feasible it will be to offer unattached HS meets this winter, too.
